Anyone who knows me, knows that I’ve been working as a freelance developer/designer for many years now. Over 14 years to be exact. My how time flies! In the past, I’ve often been asked, “So why don’t you have your own website? You’re a web designer aren’t you?” Of course they were right, which was always made more evident when meeting with clients to discuss their web needs only to have them ask about my website. “Don’t you have one, where is it?” Doh!!

There’s actually an explanation (excuse) for this … although not a very good one. I’ve been very fortunate throughout the years to have a steady stream of clients and work. Word of mouth and social networking (the real-life variety and not it’s digital counterpart) are the culprits. One client would refer me to the next, who would than refer me to the next and so on. All the while, I would be chomping at the bit, trying to find time to work on my own website but never actually finding the time. My client work always comes before my own so there it sat on the back burner next to the potatoes.

Weeks turned into months, months into years. As my client list, work load and experience grew, it became even more important for me to finally build my own website! So I finally rolled up my sleeves and pulled a few allnighters putting together a site that would reflect who I am as a developer, designer and internet marketer.

So after much anticipation (my own really) I finally present you (the reader and prospective client) with my very own website! I know, it’s not entirely done yet but it will be soon. Baby-steps! … or perhaps I can find a break in between client projects some day. Gotta love those clients!
